This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of a call schedule while allowing you to participate in both inpatient and outpatient vascular surgery cases.

What You'll Do:
- Respond to call needs and provide timely consultations and surgical interventions for inpatients with a variety of vascular conditions.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Review patient charts, order diagnostic tests as needed, and recommend appropriate treatment courses.
- Perform minimally invasive and open vascular surgery procedures as indicated for patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, procedures, and treatment decisions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic records system.
- Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care within the vascular surgery department (time permitting).
Who You Are:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in California (only).
- Board-certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) (required).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with vascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to manage a fast-paced call environment while maintaining a high level of clinical judgment and decision-making.
